Frances began her journey on October 31, 1942 in Ponderosa, New Mexico one of thirteen children born to Clemente and Elizaida (Maestas) Rivera. She was united in marriage to Mel Lett in Oakdale California on January 13, 1962 and to this union five children were born. Together they moved their family from California to McDonald County thirty six years ago. Frances worked for Farrier's Pharmacy in Grove, Oklahoma for eighteen years. She loved to paint, read, crochet, cook, singing, gardening and crafting. Most of all Frances loved being a mother and grandmother, cherishing time spent with family and friends. Frances attended the Catholic Church and Church of Christ where she volunteered her time during her younger days. Her favorite holiday to celebrate with family was Easter.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, husband Mel Lett, four siblings ~ Romeo Rivera, Tony Rivera, Josephine Leal, and Lorie Rivera.
She is survived by her five children ~ Vince Lett and wife Debbie of Fairland, Oklahoma; Gina Clay and husband Todd of Jane, Missouri; Angela Holland of Noel, Missouri; Daniel Lett of Southwest City, Missouri; and Audra O'Leary and husband Tracey of Kansas, Oklahoma; eight siblings ~ JR Rivera, Mike Rivera, Phil Rivera, Carlo Rivera, Roland Rivera, Doris Wright, Gloriana Schad, and Anna Marie Rivera. Nine grandchildren ~ Tori, Yancey, Tasha, Tessa, Sierra, Blake, Colton, Logan, and Austin; along with a host of other family, friends and neighbors who will deeply miss Frances and her kind, gentle spirit.

Burial will follow the service at the Saratoga Springs Cemetery.
