Sandra A. Stadler, age 70, of 402 County Trunk J, Reedsville, died Saturday evening, December 21, 2013 at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center, Green Bay, surrounded by her loving family.

Sandy was born on February 24, 1943 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late William & Evelyn (Vandeurzen) Junk. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1961. On October 21, 1967 she married James A. Stadler at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Sandy was employed at the Elbow Room, Manitowoc, Valders High School, Santas Best, Bernie's Supper Club of Valders, and Butch's Opera Haus of St. Nazianz. She was a member of the Valders Athletic Association, Manitowoc County Youth Sports, Clarks Mills Youth Sports and also played softball with the Kingsbury Jets softball team in Manitowoc after high school. She was also the Athletic Director of St. Mary's Catholic School, Clarks Mills and Pep Club advisor of Valders High School. Sandy was inducted in the Lakeshore Sports Hall of Fame in 1997. She was one of the original organizers of the girls fast pitch softball program for Manitowoc County Youth Sports. Sandy was also a member of the Marion Council at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills.

Survivors include her husband: Jim; four daughters and three sons-in-law: Lisa Stehula & special friend Daryle Pautz, Clarks Mills, Pamela & Stuart Erickson, Valders, Kelley & Steven Dietrich, Reedsville, Melissa & Jesse Dallas, Reedsville; a son and daughter-in-law: Bob & Mary Stadler, Whitelaw; ten grandchildren: Jordan, Kyle, Brittany, Kelsey, Karly, Rachel, Fletcher, Peyton, Makayla and Bobbi Jo; a brother: William Junk Jr., Two Rivers; three sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Betty & Larry Schleis, Manitowoc, Mary & Jim Kloster, Lake Geneva, Kathy & Don Sponholtz, Racine; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Tom & Joanne Stadler, Fortville, IN. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law: Jackie & Leon Miller; a sister-in-law: Bonnie Junk; a brother-in-law: Robert Stadler; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Arthur & Agnes Stadler.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen with burial to follow at St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery, Clarks Mills.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 where a prayer service will conclude the visitation at 7:30 p.m. Friends may also call Saturday morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m.

Sandy was a loving wife, mom and grandma. She enjoyed fishing and going to Packer games with her husband. Sandy truly enjoyed watching all her grandchildren play sports or playing in the band. She was also an avid Valders sports fan. Sandy truly enjoyed the weekly Sunday family fryouts. We love you and will miss you always.
