THE BLOOMFIELD NEWS, Bloomfield, Greene County, Indiana

Mrs. Thomas VANDEVENTER died Wednesday November 2nd, at 10 o'clock pm at Evansville, Indiana, aged 47 years. Her remains were brought home on Friday and buried in the Buskirk Graveyard in Highland Township last Saturday at 12 o'clock. She leaves two little girls and husband. The family have the sympathy of the entire neighborhood.

James Thomas and Polly Ann were parents of Mary Frances, Absolum/Abner, Winfield Scott, Simon, Katie Myrtle (who was described as "idiotic") and Lillie Gladys.
