Mrs. LeRoy Housey, 59, of 724 S. Water St., was pronounced dead on arrival at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital Tuesday evening after being stricken with an apparent heart attack at her home.
The former Mabel Mayer was born Nov. 22, 1916 at Rhine Center, daughter of the late George and Ida Mayer. She attended the district grade school.
On Nov. 4, 1939, she was married to Arthur Ploeckelmann of Medford and the couple came to Sheboygan to make their home.
Mr. Ploeckelmann died May 15, 1955.
She was married to LeRoy Housey of Sheboygan on Aug. 11, 1956.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Lester Ploeckelmann of Sheboygan and LeRoy Housey Jr. of Sheboygan; two daughters; Mrs. Jerome (Elaine) Goetsch of Sheboygan Falls, and Mrs. Larry (Lorraine) Boury of Manitowoc, and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Ballhorn Funeral Chapels with the Rev. Paul Funk, associate pastor of First United Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and on Friday until the time of services.
