Arthur Ploeckelmann was born Sept. 21, 1914, at Dorchester, Wis., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Ploeckelmann. He attended district schools there worked on his parents' farm.

He was married Nov. 4, 1939, to Mabel Mayer at Medford.

They moved to Sheboygan in 1940 and have resided here since. For 10 years he was employed at the Vollrath Company and for the past five years has been an employe of the Plastics Engineering Company.

Survivors include his wife; three children, Lester, Lorraine and Elaine; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Ploeckelmann, of Milwaukee; five brothers, Elmer of Sheboygan Falls, Clarence of Dorchester, Leonard and Melvin of Sheboygan, and Donald of Mosinee, and one sister, Mrs. John Lanigan of Milwaukee.

Funeral services will be held at 2-30 p m. Wednesday at the Ballhorn Funeral chapels. Burial will be made in the Lutheran cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the funeral home from Tuesday noon until the hour of services on Wednesday.
