Lester L. Ploeckelmann
Lester L. Ploeckelmann, 65, of 1429 N. 3rd St., died Sunday morning, April 15, 2007 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.
Lester was born July 13, 1941 in Sheboygan to Arthur and Mabel (Mayer) Ploeckelmann.
After attending Central High School,Lester was employed for a time at Vollrath Co. as a welder.
He then enlisted in the U.S. Army, stationed in Fort Sill, OK as a Specialist 4.
Lester was previously married to Pat Ashworth.
Lester was a member of the Sheboygan County Motorcyle Club. He enjoyed the great outdoors, especially camping, hunting, and fishing.
Lester is survived by two daughters, Debra (Harry) Doughty of Dover, DE and Christine Newman (special friend Boib Lodi of Cascade) of Sheboygan Falls; a granddaughter, Candice Newman of Sheboygan Falls; a sister, Elaine (Jerry) Goetsch of Cecil, WI; a brother, Leroy (Linda) Housey of Sheboygan; a brother-in-law Larry Boury of Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Lester was preceded in death by a sister, Lorraine Boury; his step-father, LeRoy Housey, Sr.; and three nephews, Barry and Craig Goetsch and Nathan Housey.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Ballhorn Chapels.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
He will be deeply missed.
