Hannah Brown, 76 Dies Early Today

Hannah Elizabeth Brown, 76, of 2532 North A street, died at the Mercy hospital at 1:30 o'clock this morning of complications. She had been ill for the past year. Born April 9, 1867, she was the daughter of Abner and Elizabeth Hencher. On September 17, 1883 she was united in marriage to David Brown. Surviving are three children, Mrs. Charles E. Stewart of Elwood, with whom she made her home; Mrs. Harvey J. Bertsch of Elwood; and Mrs. John Fligle of Ridgeville; six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the Clark funeral home and will be removed to the home of the dauehter Mrs. Stewart of 2532 North A street, on Wednesday morning. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 o'clock at the Grace Methodist church with Rev. J. B Sparling, pastor, assisted by Rev J W. Wittkamper, officiating. Burial will be in the City cemetery.
