Mrs. Emma Brower Dies At Age Of 66
Death Caused By Influenza, Heart Ailment
Mrs. Emma Hancher Brower, 66, wife of Elwood Brower, residing at 850 North Twelfth street, died yesterday afternoon at 3:45 o'clock at the residence. She was stricken with influenza a week ago and a heart ailment developed.
The daughter of Morgan and Jane Hancher, the deceased was born July 17, 1874, near elwood and had resided here her entire life. She was married to Elwood Brower on March 10, 1934.
Surviving with the husband are one foster-son, Clell Brower, of Elwood, and a sister, Mrs. Hannah Brown, of Elwood.
The body was removed to the Clark Chapel where it will remain and where friends may call at any time.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the United Brethren Church with Rev. L. G. D. Wertz, pastor, in charge. Burial will be made in the city cemetery.
