JOSEPH KELLER DIES MONDAY

Joseph Keller, 59 of Devils Lake died early Monday Morning at San Haven where he had been hospitalized for the past six weeks.
Funeral services, originally scheduled for Wednesday were postponed on account of bad weather and will be held Thursday at
9:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Maurice Jaeger officiating. Burial will be made in the Catholic Cemetery.
Born in Odessa, Russia, August 5, 1891, he came to McHenry County in
1910 and farmed there until he entered the army during World War I. Following World War I he moved to Devils Lake. He was married in 1923 in Devils Lake to Frances Heilman. She died in 1936. He was a member of Tim Running Post No. 24 of the American Legion.
Survivors include one son, Pete of Devils Lake; two stepsons Gus and N.R. Kirchoffner, both of Devils Lake, one stepdaughter Mrs.
Tony Heintz of Lewiston, Idaho; four brothers Wendelin and Tony of Towner, Walter of Knox and Roy of Devils Lake; two sisters Mrs. Mike Wallers of Berwick and Mrs. Frank Burckhard of Devils Lake.
