James Carroll "Buddy" Henderson was the son of Samuel Franklin Henderson and Narcissa "Sis" Johnson Henderson (Hall). He was the husband of two wives, Victoria Scott Henderson (1878-1913) and Zora Mae Hamilton (1889-1929). He fathered four children who reached maturity: Victoria; Gilbert; Opal; and James.

This researcher cannot prove that he is buried in Antioch Cemetery. However, other family members say he is and it can be proved his second wife, Zora is buried here. Also, his mother and step-father are buried here. Anyone who can offer additional or contrary information is welcome to contact me and I will correct any errors.
