She was born Sept. 21, 1879 in South Valley, the daughter of Dr. James and Delia Heath Benson, and was the widow of John T. Betts who died in 1947.
Mrs. Betts was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Order of the Eastern Star, 491.
Surviving are one son, Tyler D. Betts of Cortland; one nephew, Woodruff Benson of Hamden, Conn.; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave, the Rev. Richard A. DeMott officiating. Interment will be in Cortland Rural Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday evening at the funeral home from 7 to 9.
