HOMER D. THOMAS, 65, 5516 Inglewood Drive, Madison, died in a Milwaukee hospital Saturday. He was born on December 17, 1917 in West Lima, Wisconsin and married the former Adeline Hinz on Nov. 16, 1940. He served in the Army from June 1942 to December 1945 and was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Middleton. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Richard, Middleton, and Stuart, Madison; a daughter, Nancy Ramthum, New Berlin; four grandchildren, Rick, Karen, Kevin, and Kelly; five sisters, June Christopherson of California, Floy Waddell and May Baer, both of Baraboo, Elsie Barker of Portage, Frantie Jessie of North Freedom; and a brother, Leslie of Madison.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends may call form 5 to 8 tonight at the Gruber Funeral Home, 7432 Elmwood Avenue, Middleton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
