Warren R. Whipkey, 60, of 849 Henderson Ave., Washington, died Tuesday at his home. He was born Nov. 20, 1915, at Bristoria, the son of the late Samuel and Frances Kerr Whipkey.

He is survived by his widow, Helen Phillips Whipkey; four brothers, Paul Whipkey of Wind Ridge, Fred Whipkey of Holbrook, John Whipkey of Highstown, N.J. and Stoy Whipkey of Bellsville; two sisters, Lena Hennen and Freda Brant, both of New Freeport. Two sisters, Louise and Dorothy are dead.

He was employed with Kmatt Drecco Construction Co., Newark, N.J. He served in the 66th Division World War II. He was a member of Christian & Missionary Alliance Church of Washington.
