Excerpt--age 77, of Masontown, died, Aug. 16, 1989, at Preston Memorial Hosptal. She was born in Kingwood, Dec. 26, 1911, d/o the lalte Barney and Lillian Lipscomb Ayersman. She is survived by her husband, George W. Smith; three sons, George J. Smith, Donald L. Smith and Dennis D. Smith, all of Masontown; five daughters, Mrs. Paul (Ada) Chipps, Mrs. Robert (Delores) Hess and Mrs. Bill (Dixie) Metheny, all of Masontown, Mrs. Foster (Shirley) Hess of Bretz and Mrs. Frank (Rosemary) Leone of Thomas; a brother, Earl Ayersman of Brookhaven; 30 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Smith. Internment was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Masontown.
