Treva Elizabeth Padgett, 85, of Anderson, passed away on March 17, 2014 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. She was born on March 30, 1928 in Elwood, and resided most of her life in Anderson. Treva graduated from Wendell Wilkie High School. She was an LPN for Mercy Hospital in Elwood, she worked for many years in the restaurant hospitality industry, managing Henry's Hamburgers, and worked for the Anderson Country Club for 17 years. She was an entrepreneur, starting Padgett's Silver Reclamation. She was Past President of the American Kennel Club. She was also a foster parent for many years. She was a published author. She was an avid reader, and writer. She enjoyed meeting new people, and making new friends. She was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anderson. Treva is survived by her 3 daughters, Andrea Johnson of Anderson, Donita Crago of Anderson, Penny Jordan of Anderson, siblings, Georgia Ellis, Mildred Kendall, Elmond "Red" Neese, Karen Sue Mann, Barbara Boll, Virginia Boyer, grandchildren, Jeffrey Johnson, James Cody, Gabrielle (Jim) Lutton, Jason (Erin) Brown, Nathan Brown, Jacob Johnson, Sierra Jordan, 13 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Donald M. Padgett, father, Calvin Fowler, mother, Helen Neese, siblings, Sara Woods, Charles Fowler, Ivan Fowler, Roberta Alexander, Delores Hudson, Byron "Bud" Neese, and Betty Goodrick.
