Obituary.
Miss Caroline Owen died at her home Dec. 21st, 1901, in the 81st year of her age. She had been a resident of the old homestead she was five years of age, thus residing in the same place for over 76 years. Her house was in the town of Castile about three miles east of Perry village.
Funeral services were held at the late residence on Tuesday, December 34th at 2 o'clock Dr. H. A. Pease officiating. She leaves to mourn her loss three brothers and two sisters, Asbabel, Alvin and Albert Owen, Mrs. Susan Bennett and Mrs. Lucy Quackenbush. Interment was made in Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Chas. 0wen of Oakfleld, was home for a few days last week on account of the death of his aunt, Miss Caroline Owen, but did not arrive in time for the funeral.
