Miss Jessie M. Bair

Miss Jessie M. Bair, 90, resident of Topeka more than 50 years, died Tuesday at the Methodist Home for the Aged.
She was born November 9, 1864, at Mount Pleasant, Pa. She received nurse training at Dr. M.B. Ward's private hospital in Topeka. She was a registered nurse more than 40 years. She was a close friend of the A.B. Whiting and H.L. Shirer families and made her home with them for many years. She had lived at the Methodist Home since September, 1946. She was a member of the Gage Park Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Harriett Remy, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Grace Johnson, Holton; and two brothers, Thomas Bair, Minneola, Kan. and Harry Bair, Holton.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Mulvane Chapel, Methodist Home with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
