George B. Bair, a notice of whose accident appeared in last week's Recorder, [Kicked in the head by a mule] lingered along, never regaining conscious, until last Saturday afternoon, when death resulted .... the poor widowed wife and four fatherless little girls are special objects of sympathy to the people of the county. Mr. Bair's aged father and mother and his brothers and sisters also have the condolences of hosts of friends .... George B. Bair was born in Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland county, Pa., June 24, 1868. In his eleventh year his parents moved to this vicinity and the greater part of his life's course, has been run in our midst. In 1895 he was married to Miss Agnes Aikens and during their fourteen years of married life their home has been blest with five daughters, all of whom are alive except for the oldest who died in infancy .... one of the successful and prominent farmers of this vicinity .... In the twentieth year he united with the Presbyterian church but for recent years he has attended the United Brethren services which were held near his home .... the interment was made in the Holton cemetery.
