A native of Lodi, she attended local schools and was a graduate of San Jose State University.
Mrs. Jones taught for 30 years in the Lodi Unified School District and in San Joaquin County.
She married William S. Jones in 1928. Mr. Jones died in 1962.
Mrs. Jones was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, Delta Kappa Gamma, Omega Nu, the Lodi Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Emperor Branch, EasternStar, Woodbridge Gold & Country Club, and Lodi Women's Club. She was a member of the Lodi Christian Science Church and of the Mother Church.
Mrs. Jones is survived by two daughters, Carol Olson and Lynn Crook; her sister, Mrs. J.E.Devine; her brother, LeMoin Beckman; four grandchildren.
