Mrs. Catherine Butterfield, 59, wife of Asa K. Butterfield of Bluffdale, died at a local hospital Saturday of cancer of the stomach.
Mrs. Butterfield was born in South Cottonwood March 20, 1872 a daughter of James and Catherine Jones Channings.
Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters. Mrs Laura Johnson and Mrs. Goldie Maynard and three grandchildren, all of Bluffdale: one brother and three sisters, David Channings and Mrs. Sarah Butterfield of Murray; Mrs. Jemima Butterfield of Chesterfield, Idaho, and Mrs. Elizabeth Butterfield of Salt Lake.
