Born to Louis and Efren Torres, she married Fidel Martinez December 22, 1948, in Cheyenne, WY. From their first home in LaSalle, CO, they moved to Brighton in 1956, where she lived there until her death. Theresa loved to dance and babysit grandchildren. She was survived by daughters Stella Martinez and Delia (LeRoy) Garcia both of Brighton; sons Andy Martinez, North Hollywood, CA, and Jimmy (Leona) Martinez and Christopher (Marian) Martinez both of Brighton; brothers John Torres of Ft. Lupton, & Bennie Torres of Commerce City; sisters Grace Diaz, Lida Garcia, Mary Lucero & Martha Romero all of Brighton. She was also survived by 15 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, both parents, stepsons Frank & Joseph Martinez, brothers Lucino & Tony Torres, and sisters Lucy Apadaca, Vangie Baca & Patsy Ortega. Mass of Christian Burial held May 20 at St. Augustine Catholic Church.
