Pauline M. Stambaugh MANCHESTER- Pauline M. (Bupp) Stambaugh, 80, died at 3:25 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2004, at the York Lutheran Home Nursing & Rehabilitation at Folkemer Circle. She was the wife of the late W. Clair Stambaugh. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Quickel's Lutheran Church, 60 Canal Road, York, (Zion's View). Viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Quickel's Cemetery. Officiating at the service will be her pastor, the Rev. Cynthia Chambers from Quickel's Lutheran Church. The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center Inc. of Mount Wolf has been entrusted with arrangements. Mrs. Stambaugh was born July 7, 1923, in York County. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Neiman) Bupp. She worked as a seamstress for Bernhaven Sewing Factory in Mount Wolf. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and Quickel's Lutheran Church in Zion's View. Mrs. Stambaugh is survived by four daughters, Joyce Murphy of Mount Wolf, Cathy Jones of Orwigsburg, Joan Fitz of Manchester and Judy Rock of Felton; a son, Fred Stambaugh of Mount Wolf; two stepsons, Carroll Stambaugh of Emigsville and Richard Stambaugh of Manchester; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three greatgreat-grandchildren; four sisters, Ruth Wilderson of Ft. Myers, Fla., Delores Wintermyer of New Oxford, and Romaine Heilman and Phyllis Lauer, both of York. The family kindly requests the memorial contributions be made to Quickel's Lutheran Church 60 Canal Road, York, PA 17402; or to the York Lutheran Home, 1801 Folkemer Circle, York, PA 17404.
