ETTINGER, F. Olga (Archibald) - Age 91, passed away peacefully April 26th in the palliative care unit at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. She was a daughter of the late Andrew and Effie (Greenough) Cavicchi and resided in Middle Musqudoboit, Shubenacadie, and Truro. She is survived by, and is sadly missed by Jeannette (Archibald) Bauduox, John (Polly) Archibald, and Karen (Ron) Berg, Gregory (Marylee) Archibald; brother, Gerald (Jean) Cavicchi; grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Douglas Archibald, and recent husband, J. Albert Ettinger; brothers, Max and Francis Cavicchi; son, Andrew Archibald: grandchildren, Chad and Candace Archibald. Her involvements included Brookvale Ladies Aid, Musqudoboit Valley Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, and community entertainment activities. With her family grown, she became involved in municipal planning in Halifax County, while active in her husbands' business operations. Olga enjoyed a long and rich life with family and friends. She was always interested in music, flowers, and art. Donations in memory of Olga may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow or the charity of your choice. Family flowers only. A visitation will be held on Tuesday April 29th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie, from where a funeral service will be held at 2pm, Wednesday April 30th.
