CAVICCHI, Joseph Maxmilliano - 88, eldest son of the late Andrew and Sophia Cavicchi, passed away October 12, 2004, at home. He was a devoted husband and father. He was a carpenter and built the house he made for his wife and family for 56 years. He is survived by his wife, the former Carmen S. Langley, whom he married in 1944; sons, David Charles (Jan Marie), Dartmouth; Richard, Oshawa; daughters, Shannon (Keith Luff), Oshawa; Edie (Jim Thompson), Ontario; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers, Francis (Honey), Gerald (Jean); sister, Olga (Albert Ettinger). Visitation will take place 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St., Halifax. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, October 15, in St. Philip's Anglican Church, Bayers Road, Rev. Austin Munroe officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Philip's Anglican Church, QEII Health Foundation or a charity of your choice.
