Cavicchi, Gerald Clark - Passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, February 14th 2016, at the age of 86. Born September 6th, 1929 in Meaghers Grant N.S., he was a son of the late Andrew Cavicchi and Sofie (Greenough) Cavicchi and is survived by his wife, Anna Jean (Hamilton); children, Debbie (Reg) and Don (Diane); three grandchildren and three great grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He was predeceased by siblings, Max, Francis and Olga (Ettinger). Gerald was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was very active in his church, singing in the choir and ringing the bell, an endeavor which gave him great satisfaction. He toiled for many years in his workshop doing his best to keep old beat up gear running, and breathing a bit of life back into something well past its best before date. Visitation will take place 6 – 9pm Thursday, February 18th in Ettinger Funeral Home 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. A funeral service will be held 2pm Friday, February 19th in Middleton United Church, Middle Musquodoboit, Rev. Dr. Linda Yates officiating. Family flowers only.
