Mr. Morrison was a member of one of the best known families in this vicinity, the Morrisons being among the early settlers of Nasonville. He was a carpenter by trade, but in the prime of life contracted kidney trouble and it proved to be a hopeless case.
The funeral was held Saturday from the Presbyterian church in Nasonville, and was conducted by Rev. H. Lothian, the pastor. A large number were present from the surrounding country and also from away.
Surviving are the mother; six brothers, Ross, Joseph of Medford, Isaac, Leander, Vernon and Casper; two sisters, Mrs. George Compeau of Park Falls and Mrs. Roseneth Theisen of lona Lake, Minn., all of whom were able to be present for the funeral. Others present were Fred and Valeta Parmelee of Ripon; Mrs. William Cournoyer of Chippewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Morrison of Carlos, Ind.; and William Romag of Park Falls.
