The body will lie in state at the Hansen Funeral Home beginning this evening and the funeral services will be conducted there Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock by the Rev. Arthur R. Oates of the First Presbyterian Church. Interment will take place in Hillside cemetery.
Vernon Vinton Morrison, son of the late James and Martha (Hart) Morrison, was born in the Town of Lincoln Sept. 28, 1876, received his education there, and was married in Marshfield April 19, 1906, to Mary Hansen. He retired from farming about five years ago.
Surviving besides his widow are two sons, Kenneth Morrison, Stanley, and Veryl Morrison, route 1, Marshfield; his daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Mildred) Lauby, Marshfield; two brothers, Leander Morrison, route 1, Marshfield, and Joseph Morrison, Milwaukee; and 10 grandchildren.
A daughter, Mrs. Harvey (Arbutus) Zettler, died Feb. 4, 1946, and three sisters and five brothers also preceded him in death.
