Mrs. Gladys Cole Bernhoft, 73, of Poughkeepsie, formerly of 105 Dewey Ave., Fayetteville, died Thursday. She had worked for many years at Hill Haven Nursing Home.
Mrs. Bernhoft was the widow of Arthur Bernhoft who died in 1966. She was a member of Willet Memorial Church now called Midler Avenue Wesleyan Church. She was born in Titusville, Pa.
Mrs. Bernhoft is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert Morris of Poughkeepsie, and Mrs. Marilyn Carlisle of Guntersville, Ala.; two sons, Dr. Robert Bernhoft of Toledo, Ohio, and Donald Bernhoft of Schaghticoke.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Midler Avenue Wesleyan Church, the Rev. William W. Turverey officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Fairchild and Meech DeWitt Chapel. Contributions may be made to the Houghton College Memorial Fund or to the American Cancer Society.
