Esther G. McNutt age 92 of Warsaw, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Lincoln Community Care Center in Lincoln, Missouri. She was born on October 16, 1921 in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
She attended Northwest Nazarene College and Nampa Business College in Nampa, Idaho. On July 21,1947 she was united in marriage to Paul McNutt. They made their home in Kansas City where she was an Office Manager in the World Missions Department of the Nazarene Headquarters in Kansas City. She worked there for thirty-three years, retiring in 1992.
In 2004 she and Paul moved permanently to Warsaw. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Kansas City. She enjoyed music and spending time with her family. She also had a love for chocolate and enjoyed sharing that with family and friends alike.
She is preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings and a grandson Michael McNutt.
She is survived by one son Terry McNutt of Osceola, Missouri, a daughter Patty Pugh and her husband Chris, of Kansas City, Missouri, four grandchildren: Gary McNutt of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Brian McNutt of Osceola, Jessica Pugh and Jamie Pugh of Kansas City, five great grandchildren, a sister, Lois Dellinger, of Boise, Idaho, numerous other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services for Esther G. McNutt will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 23, 2014 at Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral. Graveside services and interment will be held in Osceola, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Benton County Hospice c/o the Reser Funeral Home.
