She married Archie H. Rose in 1938 at Hutchison, Kan. They moved to Grand Coulee, Wash. in 1980 and to Brewster in 1988.
At various times in their married life, Mrs. Rose taught school and also in a business college for several years. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club and was president of the Home Extension Women's Club for many years.
Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Florence Werlein of Bellevue and Janice May of Brewster; one son Harold of Long Beach, Calif; one brother; six sisters; and two grandsons.
