C.E. ALLEE, 58, DIES MONDAY
C. E. Allee, 58, died early Monday morning in Jacksonville. He was born Feb 28, 1922, son of William Henry and Lena Mary Edward Allee.
Surviving is his wife, E. Alle and one son, E. B. Allee, of Jacksonville. There are two granchildren.
Eight sisters servive; Wilma Allen(Allee), Springfield; Alma Marie Hoffman, Chicago; Mrs. Jim (Mary) Adams, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania; Mrs. Douglas (Moneta) Rankin, Collinsville; Mrs. Robert (Doris) Oliver, Collinsville; Mrs. Milton (Martha) Koudelka, Belleville; Mrs. Fred (Gloriann) Hensler, East St. Louis and Mrs. Gus (Betty) Okertich, St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
He was co-owner of Al and Ed's garage in Jacksonville and was a WWII veteran in the Merchant Marines. He was a member of Island Grove Methodist church.
He was also a member of Masonic Lodge 118, the Hospitaller Commandery 31, Ansar Shrine, White Shrine of Jerusalem 51, Order of the Eastern Star 320 at Waverly, a member of the Illinois Sheriff's Association and a member of UCT.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Williamson Funeral Home. Friends may call after 10:30am. Tuesday at the funeral home; family will receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30pm. Moose rituals will be conducted at 7pm and Masonic rites at 8:45pm.
