Iva Oliver
Iva Doris Oliver, nee Alle. 73 of East Winterhaven, FL formerly of Collinsville, IL., born Sept 19, 1926 in Murphysboro, IL died Tuesday Dec. 21, 1999 at Lakeland Hospital, Lakeland FL.
Mrs. Oliver delivered Meals-on-Wheels. She was a member of the First United Methodist Chruch. The Carpenter's Sunday school class and the Priscilla Circle, 78 Meat Packers.
Mrs. Oliver was preceeded in death by her parents, Calvin and Lena, nee Edwards. (*personal note - father's name is incorrect - William Henry Allee, Sr. was her father, Mary Lena Edwards was her mother-vjm)
a son in infancy, Richard A Oliver, a brother; Calvin; and six sisters; Lillian, Wilma, Martha, Gloria, Betty and Jean.
Surviving are her husband; Robert Okiver; two daughters, Sandra (Ed) Van Hook Anderson of Belleville, IL and Jo Lynn (Jake) Deck of Witherhaven, Fla; three sister, Mary (James) Adams of Camphill, Pa, Mrs. Terry Hoffman of Chicago, IL and Moneta (Doug) Rankin of Collinsville, IL, three granchildren; Claire Van Hook, Robert Van Hook and Jamie Deck; brothers and sister-in-laws, Jo and Dude Moore and Don and Ginny Oliver and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Thursday Dec. 23, 1999 at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 am Friday, Dec. 24, 1999 at the First United Methodist Church, Collinsville, IL with the Rev. Josph Scheets officiating.
Burial will be at Vahalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
