Dolores "Dee" Pace, 73, died Feb. 14 at her home. She was born March 25, 1930 at Gorham, the daughter of Albert and Catherine Brungardt Weigel.

A 44 year resident of Great Bend, coming from Lyons, she was a cake decorator. Pace was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and Altar Society both in Great Bend, the Cake Decorating Association and the Society of Cake Decorators.

Survivors include one son, G. Allen Pace of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Lu Ann Pace of Great Bend and Cindy Ellis of Colby; one brother, Elmer Weigel, of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Noreen Moiser Budig of Woodward, Okla. and Arlene Yarmer of Albuquerque, N.M.; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Francis Weigel; four sisters, Alberta Quint, Viola Cramer, Helen Windholz and Leona Weigel.

Altar Society rosary will be at 4 p.m. Monday, at Bryant Funeral Home in Great Bend and a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with Rev. Ted Stoecklein officiating. Burial will be at Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Golden Belt Home Health and Hospice in care of the funeral home. Funeral arrangements provided by Bryant Funeral Home 1425 Patton Road Great Bend, KS 67530.
