Woodward, Okla. -- Catherine Weigel, 85, died May 10 at the Woodward Nursing Center in Woodward, Okla. Born March 20, 1900 in Emmeram, she married Albert A. Weigel Feb. 2, 1922 at Emmeram. He died May 14, 1963.
She was a former Gorham resident and had been a housewife.
Her survivors include four daughters, Viola Cramer of Minturn, Colo., Dee Pace of Great Bend, Noreen Mosier of Woodward, Okla., and Arleen Yarmer of Albuquerque, N.M.; one son, Elmer of Franklin, Wis.; three sisters, Mary Dinkel of Hays, Sister Francis Hubert Brungradt and Sister Valerian Brungardt, both of Concordia; one brother, Joe Brungardt; 31 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the St. Fidelis Catholic Church in Victoria with the Rev. Gilmary Tallman officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Gorham. Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. today at Cline's Mortuary.
