The graveside funeral will be held Feb. 11 for Laura Ellen Wilson of Sun City, Ariz., formerly of Springfield, who died Jan. 30 of cancer. She was 80.

She was born Sept. 26, 1925, in Henrietta, Okla., to Oval Evans Markham and Louis Evans. She married Walter Wilson on Jan. 30, 1943, in Bakersfield, Calif. He died July 24, 1982.

A resident of Springfield for 30 years, she and her husband owned and operated W.W. Drilling & Pump Service until their retirement.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed travel and spending time with her family.

Survivors include five daughters, Laurie Fountain of Springfield, Linda Allison of Eugene, Barbara Osterholm of Albany, Pat Braddock of Sandy and Mary Wilson of Sun City; two sisters, Marian Daniels and Wilma Faye Daniels of Bakersfield, CA and Patsy Isaacs of Kanawa, Okla.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A son, Frank Wilson, died previously.

Saturday's service will be held at noon at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene. Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.
