Served in the U.S. Army 1942 to 1946 in the South Pacific. Grew up and attended school in Michigan. Worked in Chicago and Milwaukee before entering the service. After his discharge he settled in Daly City, CA. He worked in the sheet metal industry for a time, then he worked as a manager for his brother's sheet metal business. He retired in 1978 and moved to Nevada County full time. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed fishing and bowling. He was a member of the American Legion of Grass Valley and the Alta Sierra County Club.
William is survived by Edna Supanich, wife, of Grass Valley, Kent S. Evert, stepson, of Grass Valley, Paul Supanich, brother of San, Bruno, CA, George Supanich, Brother, of Arizona, Mary Thomas, sister of Milwaukee WI. Helen Sharon, sister of Milwaukee WI.
