Anton Supanich, age 55 a L'Anse Township resident passed away at his home Monday morning at 4 o'clock following a two week illness.
Mr Supanich was born in Austria on July 17 1872. He came to America about ?? years ago and located in Calumet, where he resided untill 1911. He then moved to Baraga County, purchasing a 40 acre tract of land in L'Anse Township which he cleared and developed.
A widow and 13 children survived Anthony, Frank, and Nicholas of Detorit, Mrs Bogdan Barach of Milwaukee and Anna, Peter, John, Michael, William, Joseph, George, Mary and Helen at home. Services were held yesterday morning in Sacrede Heart church with Rev Fr. Leidgens officiaing. Interment was in L'Anse Cemetery.
