In state at Schaff Funeral Home, 5920 W. Lincoln av., from 2:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. Mon. Vigil 8 p.m. Mon. Complete funeral service at L'Anse, Mich

Mrs. Supanich, 83, Former Resident, Summoned

Mrs. Frances Supanich, 83, a former residemt of L'Anse, passed away Saturday, July 14th, in Milwaukee, where she had resided for the past twelve years.
Mrs. Supanich was born in Yugoslaiva, January 19, 1897 and came to this country, arriving in Calumet in 1898. She resided there until 1917 where she moved to L'Anse where she remained until 1950 when she left for Milwaukee.
She was married to the late Anthony Supanich in 1898 in Calumet. He preceded her in death in 1927. She was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church of Calumet and the Altar Society.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Frances) Bogden of West Allis, Wis., Mrs. Fred (Ann) Stefanac and Mrs. Wallace (Helen) Goodreau, both of Milwaukee and Mrs. Norman (Mary) Thomas of Hales Corners, Wis.; eight sons, Tony of Detorit, Frank of L'Anse, Nichilas of Libertyville Ill., Paul and William of San Bruno, Calif., John of Milawukee and Michael and George of Chigo; 51 greandchildren and 63 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held this morning (Wednesday) at 9 o'clock at St. Ann's Church, Baraga, with Fr. Ralph Sterbentz officiating Burial was in the L'Anse Evergreen Cemetery.
The Rosary was recited Tuseday evening at nine o'clock at the Swanson Funeral Home.
