Ralph Edwin Richardson, 72, of 1100 Lancaster St., Owner and operator of Richardson's Open Air Market, died Thursday in Columbia Hospital.
Mr. Richardson was born in Fairfield County, son of the late James R. and Jessie Inez Price Richardson. He was a member of Park Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Irene S. Richardson; a daughter, Mrs. Robert L. Able of Columbia; a son, William E. Richardson of Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. E. F. Miller of Columbia and Dorothy Angelo of Shell Beach, Calif.; and two brothers, Clyde Richardson of Columbia and J. R. Richardson of Cayce.
Funeral services will be at 11 a. m. Saturday in Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Robert L. Deneen, D. D. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
