Born in Elgin, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Sallie Albert Sanders. She was a member of Park Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Robert Louis Able of Columbia; a son, William Everette Richardson of Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Obenshain Vaughn of Great Falls; and Mrs. Phagie Vaughn of Blythewood; three brothers, Douglas Dalton Sanders of Norfolk, Va., Robert Sanders of North Augusta and Elbert Sanders of Columbia; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a. m. Tuesday at Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Robert L. Deneen. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
