Services for Mrs. Sally Pruitt, widow of J.D. Pruitt, will be held at 2 this afternoon at National Funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park. Mrs. Pruitt, who was 72, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. H.W. Shearin of 1083 Ayers at 12:45 yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Pruitt spent most of her life in Rossville, Tenn. She was a member of the Chelsea Avenue Methodist Church. She also leaves seven sons, P.S., R.L., C.E., A.L., and J.M. Pruitt of Memphis, R.F. Pruitt of Bolivar, and E.B. Pruitt of Williston, Tenn., and two other daughters, Mrs. James Parrott of Williston, and Mrs. S.E. Carter of Los Angeles. (Published in The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, TN, on Apri 22, 1948)
