St. Joseph's Hospital, Tuesday afternoon, April 25, 1939, at 2:30 o'clock, James David Pruitt, husband of Sallie Timberlake Pruitt, father of Pinkney, Samuel, Robert, Clifton, Renfroe, Malcolm, and Arthur Pruitt, Mrs. Harvey Shearrin and Mrs. James Parrot of this city, Mrs. Etta Rogers of California, Bailey Pruitt of Williston, Tenn., brother of Mrs. L.A. Bloom of Somerville, Tenn., Mrs. Willie Austin of Jackson, Tenn., Mrs. C.E. Teague and Mrs. Blanche Simmons of Moscow, Tenn., and Eugene Pruitt of this city. Remains will be sent from the funeral residence of J.T. Hinton & Son, 1160 Union Avenue, this (Wednesday) afternoon via motor at 12:30 o'clock to the Pleasants Christian Church near Macon, Tenn., where funeral services conducted by the Rev. Dr. Norman M. Lovein will be held at 2:30 o'clock. Friends are invited. Interment in Pleasants Cemetery. Arrangements by John Wetzler of Somerville, Tenn.
