Mrs. Monica E. Fogeltanz, 76, formerly of Kellnersville, died Thursday afternoon February 28, 1991 at the North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville. Rev. William J. Eberhardy officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be in the parish cemetery.
The former Monica Fischer was born July 15, 1914 in the town of Holland, Brown County, daughter of the late Herman and Dora Stradal Fischer. On November 5, 1935 she married John Fogeltanz Sr. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church,Whitelaw. Mr. Fogeltanz preceded her in death April 17, 1990. She worked for Kubsch’s County Inn in Kellnersville for several years. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish Kellnersville.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Sandra Fogeltanz of kellnersville, John and Joyce Fogeltanz of Kellnersville; one daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and Richard Rysticken of Manitowoc; one step son and daughter-in-law, LeRoy and Joyce Fogeltanz of rural Cato; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Ben and Arlene Fischer of Manitowoc, Daniel and Marie Fischer of Route 1, Cato, Tillie Fischer of St. Mary’s Home, Manitowoc; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Anna Pettinger of Evanston, Ill., Renetta and Joseph Pritzl of DePere and William Urban of Indiana. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at the Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville from 5-9 p.m. this Sunday. Prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Sunday led by Father Eberhardy. Visitation at the church on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service with morning prayers at 10 a.m.
