Ella Bloss
Ella Marie Bloss, 79, of Waco passed away Monday, May 30, 2005. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, at OakCrest Funeral Home with Chaplain Craig Klempauer officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
Ella was bron October 22, 1925, in Brenham, to John and Emma (Knuppel) Naumann. In 1962, she married Warren Newell Bloss Jr., who passed away in 1982. She became a Registered Nurse in 1973 and retired after 20 years of service. Ella Marie "Momma" was a beloved wife, devoted sister and a loving mother and grandmother. She was particularly proud of her family, brothers, sisters, grandchildren and heritage. She enjoyed many drives through the country to see the wildflower trails of bluebonnets and Indian paint brushes. She took many trips to Meridian State Park and other Texas historical parks. She loved the holidays and especially house Christmas light displays. Enjoying the company of children was her favorite passion. Her pursuit of nursing allowed her to exercise her desire to help people. As a result she helped to save the life of a doctor with CPR while on duty. She loved life and the life of others.
She is survived by sons, Warren Bloss and wife, Lori Ivanditto-Bloss, of Queen Creek, Ariz. and Roy Lee Parsons and wife, Pameria S. Nichols-Parsons, of Penrose, Colo.; three grandchildren; brothers, Theodore Naumann of Brenham, Emmitt Naumann, of Waco, Melvin Naumann of Virginia and Ralph Sommerfield of Waco; and sisters, Emma Lange, of McGregor and Susie Klaehn, of Fredericksburg.
