Retired cook for North Side Nursing Home
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Tod Cemetery Chapel for Mrs. Mildred F. Harshman, 84 formerly of Bridge Street, Struthers, who died of cancer Friday morning at Omni Manor after an 18-month illness.
Mrs. Harshman was born October 18, 1909, in Niles, a daughter of George and Alice Davis Evans, and came to this area 55 years ago. She retired in 1970 as a cook at North Side Nursing Home.
Her husband, Floyd E., whom she married April 24, 1931, died April 10, 1970.
She leaves a half sister, Mrs. Violet Willard, and a foster sister, Mrs. Helen Silver, both of Youngstown.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Fox Funeral Home.
