Edward Porubcansky, 55, of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, died Monday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Fuenral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sauer Fuenral Home, Kellnersville.The Rev. Charles R. Freuden will officiate with burial in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mr. Porubcansky was born Sept. 24, 1920, at Manitowoc, son of the late Philip Porubcansky and Mrs. Mary Martincak Porubcansky. He married Ethel Reynolds May 6, 1944. He was a veteran of World War II, enterig military service May 25, 1944, serving overseas inthe European Theater. He was discharged April 9, 1946. He was engaged in farming and was also formerly employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc.
Survivors include his wife a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Nancy Porubcansky, and his mother, Mrs. Mary Porubcansky, of Rt. 1,Whitelaw; two brothers, John, of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, and Joseph, of Francis Creek; a sister, Mrs. Richard (Violet) Reynolds, of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, a grandson, Randy, and nieces and nephews. His father, Philip, preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, after 4 p.m Wednesday and Thursday until the time of service.
