Mary Larkin Hoyt was born on June 28, 1901 in Derby, Connecticut. She was the 1st child of Ira Ford Hoyt and Jane Elizabeth Larkin. Mary had two siblings; Cecilia Elizabeth Hoyt, born in 1903 and Ira Mortimer Hoyt, born in 1905. She died on October 18, 1907 at the age of 6. Mary died from Diphtheria, and had been ill for one week. She is buried, along with her father, and her mother, in the Larkin family plot.
