Peabody-- Ida Barbeau, 87, of 25 Calumet St., Peabody, a former employee of the Danvers Bleachery in Peabody, died Saturday at J.B. Thomas Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Peabody, Mass., daughter of the late Joseph and Delia (Tremblay) Barbeau, she resided in Peabody all her life.
Employed more than 30 years at the former Danvers Bleachery prior to her retirement.
Member of the St. Jean Baptiste Society of Salem.
Surviving are a sister, Julia Barbeau of Peabody; several nieces & nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral Mass Wed. in St. John's Church. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
