Miss Barbeau graduated from St.John's High School and was an honor graduate from Bentley College, evening division.
Employed as an office manager for the Salem Laundry Co., Salem, for 30 years. Later she was principal clerk at the City of the Salem Retirement Board for six years, prior to her retirement 10 years ago.
Surviving her are three sisters, Ida Barbeau, Julia Barbeau and Andrea Barbeau; a brother, Ernest Barbeau of Lynn; four nieces & four nephews and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was also sister of the late Arthur Barbeau and Eva Gahagan.
Funeral Mass Friday in St. John's Church. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
