Mrs. Amy Simpson, 73, of Lunenburg, died September 18th., in the Victoria General Hospital. Born at Garden Lots, she was the daughter of the late Captain and Mrs. George Myra.
She is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Shaffer, Tennessee; Mrs. Alice Walsh, Lowell, Mass.; Mrs. Hazel Townsend, Lunenburg; Mrs. Beatrice Abbott, Osborne, Shelburne County; Mrs. Phyllis Meisner, Garden Lots; a step-sister, Mrs. Hilda Robart, Lowell, Mass.; and step-brother, Bernard Mosher, Manchester, Mass. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles.
She was a member of Zion's Lutheran Church, L.C.W., and the Rebekah Lodge.
Her body was donated to Dalhousie University for medical research.
A memorial service was held at Zion's Lutheran Church, conducted by Rev. James Slack.
